Diagnosed with a lung condition in early childhood, Meg discovered her passion for cheerleading as she was forced to sit out of conventional sport due to her Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). However, her journey took a drastic turn at 17 when her health forced her to give up cheerleading, leading her to discover the transformative power of weight lifting. During a hospital stay, amidst the struggle with her lung condition, Meg was browsing on social media and discovered Krissy Cela and from then on felt inspired to lift weights as a way to manage her COPD. Finding that strength training helped improve her condition she embarked on a journey of self-discovery and rehabilitation. This shift not only helped her lungs but also started to build her confidence and strength. The arrival of COVID-19 and lockdowns presented Meg with more challenges but also an opportunity to further her commitment to health and newfound strength. Transforming her garden into a makeshift gym, she dedicated herself to not just strength training but also to improving her nutrition and sleep habits, areas previously neglected due to her demanding corporate job. This period of reflection and growth allowed Meg to emerge stronger, both physically and mentally. Meg's not just a trainer; she's a motivator and a living proof that with the right mindset, discipline, and determination, anyone can overcome their limitations. Now preparing for her first bodybuilding competition, Meg stands as the most confident and empowered version of herself, ready to inspire others with her story of resilience, transformation, and triumph over adversity.
