Our mission has always been to make women feel empowered and strong through exercise. From back when we started the app back in 2019, all the way through to now, you, the community, have been at the heart of everything we do. 

Over the past year we’ve been working hard behind the scenes, reviewing over 3000 pieces of invaluable community feedback, organising in-person focus groups and been through a vigorous trial and testing period to bring you our biggest app update ever. Now, over a year on since this enormous project began, we can finally announce the unmissable app changes you’ve been waiting for, are finally here. 

Every aspect of your workouts have been improved, from making it easier to record your weights and track your progress and PBs, to customising your warm ups and reordering exercises in each workout.

We’ve revamped the app you know and love, making it easy to log your weights, track your progress, and smash those PBs. You can now customise your warm-ups and personal the workout itself by reordering your exercises – it’s your EvolveYou workout, your way. 

Here's a sneak peek of what is going to change:

New workout flow

The heart of the EvolveYou app, the main workout screen, has undergone a complete transformation providing you a more streamlined and intuitive workout flow that will keep you in the zone and ready to smash those reps. The revamped screen allows you to seamlessly track your weights, view your rest periods, and swap exercises: this transformation was all about minimising distractions, making it smoother and more focused than ever before. 

By seamlessly integrating these features into the main screen you no longer need to navigate different menus or continuously tap through the app. This enhanced interface makines transitioning through exercises simple and easy, allowing you to stay focused on the most important thing: the workout itself. Say goodbye to unnecessary pauses and hello to a more efficient and immersive fitness journey.

Warm-Up Variety:

  • Customise your warm-up routine based on your preferences and goals.
  • Select cardio-based warm-ups to elevate your heart rate and activate your muscles.
  • Incorporate stretching exercises to enhance flexibility and range of motion.
  • Choose warm-ups that target specific muscle groups or movement patterns.
  • Experiment with different warm-up variations to discover what works best for you.

Reorder Exercises:

  • Adjust the sequence of exercises to align with your gym's equipment layout.
  • Prioritize exercises that utilize adjacent equipment to minimize wasted time and streamline your workout.
  • Consider your energy levels and muscle fatigue when reordering exercises.
  • Group exercises that target similar muscle groups or movements together.
  • Experiment with different exercise orders to find a flow that feels efficient and effective.

New Profile Hub  

The home of all your important stats, meet your brand new profile page. 

Your workout history on the activity tracker provides you with a total overview of your fitness journey. Through the profile icon in the top right corner, you can access your profile page, which is a hub of information related to your workouts.

Dive into the detailed breakdown of your workout history which includes the types of exercises you've performed, the stars you achieved, and your PB history. This information is presented in an easy-to-understand format, making it convenient to track your progress over time and celebrate your achievements. 

Whether you're looking to improve your endurance, build muscle, or simply maintain a healthy lifestyle, your workout history is there to help. It's a source of motivation, a roadmap to guide your progress, and the ultimate tool to unlock your full fitness potential.

Here are some specific examples of how you can use the workout history feature:

  • Track your progress over time: See how you've improved in terms of distance, speed, or weight lifted.
  • Stay motivated: Celebrate your big achievements and milestones to help you stay focused on your fitness goals.
  • Adjust your workout routine: Make informed decisions about your training based on the data provided, such as increasing the intensity or duration of your workouts.

By tapping into the power of your workout history, you will gain a deeper understanding of your fitness journey, empowering you to make informed decisions that lead to lasting results.

New Personal Bests

Elevate your fitness journey by adding your big lifts into the Personal Best section in your EvolveYou app. This unmissable feature allows you to track and celebrate your peak performances for your favourite exercises – whether you achieved them during an independent training session or during your EvolveYou workout. 

Consider your Personal Best section your mini ‘hall of fame’ – we encourage you to include all your PBs that you’ve achieved outside the app to build a comprehensive record of your fitness journey. Seeing your progress will push you to set new goals, stay motivated and stay on track towards your fitness aspirations.

Beyond the App

We know your fitness journey extends beyond our workouts. Now you can:

  • Log External Activities: Keep track of runs, classes, or any other workouts you do.
  • Monthly Planner View: Get a big-picture view of your fitness schedule and goals.

Improved Exercise Types

Spice up your routine with the improvements on different exercise types:

  • Metcon:  Short for "metabolic conditioning," these workouts combine high-intensity cardio and strength training for maximum efficiency.
  • AMRAP:  As Many Rounds or Reps as Possible – push your limits within a set timeframe.
  • EMOM:  Every Minute on the Minute – complete a set number of reps at the start of each minute and rest for the remainder.
