My Favorite Style Of Fitness Training

There are SO many ways to train and get movement into your day. Everyone has a favorite practice of movement and for me, it has always been surfing and some form of weight training/interval training.

There are SO many ways to train and get movement into your day. Everyone has a favorite practice of movement and for me, it has always been surfing and some form of weight training/interval training.

I began using the Tone and Sculpt app about 2 years ago and have never stopped using it! When the gyms were open I was always following the gym guide which I LOVED. However, with gyms being closed and quarantine, I have found a new love for circuit/interval training. ♥️
I am so grateful for Krissy who came out with the Sculpt It guide at the beginning of the year as a new style of working out. I started it at the beginning of quarantine as it requires very little equipment and takes about 30 minutes max. I began including Sculpt It and an interval training style into my daily morning routine and WOW I have never felt better! I am almost done with the second phase of Sculpt It!

The Sculpt It program consists of 4 weekly workouts (you can edit this to fit your own schedule), 28-minute workouts, 4 circuits, 5 minutes each circuit. It’s a quick burner that gets you sweating like you never have before but also includes strength exercises. I love interval training because it feels like a personal challenge to see how many rounds in each circuit you can complete within 5 minutes. The Sculpt it program is always pushing me to be and do my best, I’m absolutely in love with it!

Interval training is an excellent way to train as it pushes you, it is challenging, motivating, and has a multitude of benefits. For example, interval training is excellent in strengthening your cardiovascular system, muscle endurance, and is effective in helping you lose weight. Interval training gets your heart rate way up and pushes your body in a way where results are seen quickly. I remember jumping squats being the death of me, but now I get excited for them and feel great doing them as my body has adapted and they feel much easier and controlled. It’s an awesome feeling when you notice your body adapting and strengthening itself! It automatically boosts your confidence and relationship with yourself.

I have never felt more confident, fit, and well-rounded in my health. A workout from the Sculpt It program may look something like this:

LOWER BODY EXAMPLE:
Every circuit lasts 5 minutes.

WARM-UP
- 4 minutes skipping rope

CIRCUIT 1
- 15 sumo deadlifts
- 20 jumping squats
- 15 goblet squats

CIRCUIT 2
- 20 jumping lunges
- 15 dumbbell squats
- 12 reps each side single leg deadlifts

CIRCUIT 3
- 15 sumo deadlifts
- 20 jumping squats
- 15 goblet squats

CIRCUIT 4
- 20 jumping lunges
- 15 dumbbell squats
- 12 reps each side single leg deadlifts

This is the format of every workout in the Sculpt It guide and it is now my favorite way to train. Quick, effective, and a good sweat. I have found this guide to lean me out while also gaining muscle. I have the best relationship with my body and food that I ever have! This guide makes me feel excellent since my fitness is now so well-rounded as I have the most stamina, endurance, strength, and functionality than ever before in my workouts and everyday movement. I HIGHLY recommend this program and interval/circuit training as I feel like one can only benefit from it.
